She also petitioned for and won approval of additional qualifying medical conditions. She has regularly presented informative seminars to the public on cannabis business law, and to attorneys and accountants earning them valuable continuing education credits. Her dedication also extends far beyond the classroom. Tricia serves as a member, since formation and former Chair for two years, of the Cannabis Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar.

Tricia's passion for the cannabis industry extends to public service, as well. She is the founder and leader of the non-profit Medical Cannabis Compassion Foundation of New Mexico, advocating for patient access and affordability. Additionally, she actively participates in NORML's National Legal Committee, furthering cannabis legalization efforts across the country.
